Hello guys,

I lurked around for the last few days, but wanted to come out with my situation now:

Recently I started to blog on tumblr, about 2 months ago. Just one blog, no multiple accounts or bots, no additional website. My blog is about adult content - not really porn, but somewhat sexual, so amazon affiliate or adsense won't accept me. My blogposts contain much written text (by me) and some pictures complimenting the words. I don't write fictional stories, more like "how to's" and stuff like that you could find on something like "pick up artist pages". As I said, I started 2 months ago and have now a little more than 1000 followers, growing slowly but constantly (about +30 followers each day). I'm writing one or two posts each day and getting many likes and many positive comments. I started to use google analytics 4 days ago to check my traffic and created an additional twitter account so support my blog. Analytics says I'm having about 150 unique users on my blog each day. I'm thinking about earning some money now, if possible, with this blog I started as a hobby. I read many good things about using Crakrevenue, is that still possible with tumblr, and most important - does it pay off? Do you guys have any advises for me?

I don`t think you can actually monetize Tumblr with offers anymore. You would be much better off funneling the traffic from Tumblr into your own website and putting offers, like Crakrevenue, on that site.

Thx for your answer. Really? I saw some sort of tumblr tutorials on the Crakrevenue site - that's not possible anymore? Thats so sad, I love how easy tumblr is, and I'm not sure, wheather I can move my followers to a new site.... Best would've been to make some cash right from tumblr. But what about the traffic and users? Is that profitable in these dimensions somehow?

As I said, I`m not 100% sure you can use Crakrevenue on Tumblr anymore. Better read Tumblr`s TOS for more info. Traffic off of Tumblr is definitely very good. Especially in the adult niche. So if you could find a way to send that traffic somewhere you can monetize it, you are gold for sure.

Hey guys - a little update and some questions. I use crakrevenue since I posted here and the blog is still going well (about 4000+ followers now). But I have to say I didn't earn any money at all. Since I started I posted one banner on my blog (different offers, switched after 2 - 3 weeks) and got these statistics: 15000 impressions, 0 CPM, 1.40 CTR, 224 Gross clicks, 205 clicks, 0 EPC, 0 CR, 0 Conversions, 0 CPA, 0.00$ Payout. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I thought I would at least make a dime with that, but nothing. Any ideas someone?

I would never think to use Tumblr as a source to make money unless you have a ton of followers like 100K +. To me, I get the feeling that Tumblr is frequented by a lot of young people who are there to look at nice pictures or fanarts of anime, cartoons, movie characters. I'm not saying it's impossible to monetize your Tumblr blog, but it'll probably be difficult compared to other sites.

You should not use Crakrevenue directly on your blog but use an url and redirect that url to a crak link - otherwise sooner or later you get suspended. Traffic is bad to Crakoffers, they convert on SOI offers, but you need tons of accounts and losts of posts and followers
