So I was checking my creator dashboard, and it looks like the only way to monetize a facebook page is to post a lot of 3mins+ videos and get advertisers ?

Is that the only way ?

Well, if we're talking about doing it "directly", yes, that's the only way.
However, you can try these:
  • You could make a dropshipping shop and promote it to your audience so they buy the things on there according to their interests.
  • You can sell the page.
  • You can make affiliate marketing if your audience is niche targetted.

Yeah I was talking about directly monetizing it .. Thanks

Lots of people turn their personal Facebook profiles into lead generators because their reach is better than with a Facebook business page. Blake Nubar has an entire product and community built around this idea. Friend a few people and see how they do it. Almost always, they're pushing affiliate offers.

You could do the same with a Facebook page, but your reach will probably be lower. The benefit is you can at least advertise and boost to reach more people. Just some ideas.

Ahh, sorry. I was writing this before your reply. :-)

Thanks :)))

I've been in online marketing for more than 10 years :)) So I know all about that, I just never tried to monetize a Facebook page directly, looking for passive incoming .. I mean if I'm posting content anyway whether it's directed to a shop or an affiliate offer, might as well make something out of Facebook itself ..

I'm too lazy to make 3mins videos, although in my niche / particular situation it's gonna be very easy ... Maybe i'll look into a joint venture with someone taking over youtube ..

AdBreaks is not the only way to monetize directly with FB. AdBreaks is only for videos..there is also brand collaborations (paid partnerships), Instant Articles and Fan Subscriptions.. Your page might not qualify for these, though..You'll need to look into them further to see.

Yeah I'm already looking into that ...
I have the partnership thing I don't know what to do with it ... Instant articles seems like spam to me .. the fan subscription is only available for big brands as of right now .. so the only real thing is ad breaks ..

Please tell me where can I find out more about this?

I literally give you that information in the message that you replied to:
