Has anyone here successfully monetized a channel that basically reposts other people's content, primarily making money through ad revenue?

I was also thinking about doing some affiliate stuff but reposting other people's content to promote affiliate downloads is hard to make look legit.

Im trying to escape the 9-5 by starting a side hustle. first goal is to come up with a solid content strategy that makes sense.

That's a crime. You can go to jail for that.

I'm looking for creative ideas to use content under fair use laws. For example top 10 police chases, there are some forms of content to that can be reused. For example if you were to repost a speech of a political figure that would not be violating copyright laws at least I think?

IDK if I would have to add commentary or not to get monetized.

Content curation has several benefits and the highlight of this is you don't have to mainly rely on your content marketing strategies. You can get from others to increase the efficiency of your page. Other benefits of content curation include building relationships with others that you share same interests with, widening your exposure on the internet, and being able to come up with new ideas since you are exposed to different topics almost everyday.
