Hi there! First post on this forum, though I read a lot of content before making an account, I hope I'm asking in the right place.

I've a website with the streaming of a popular TV series, localized in my language (Italian), right now I'm having like 5000 daily users, but I'm not able to monetize correctly.
I was trying new services but I recently got stuck when trying a popular cpc made my website flagged as malicious.
Since I needed two days to recover from that thing, losing like 1000 users, I thought it would be better ask help.

I always used a adsense but they found that my website was breaking copyright, so this option is not available any more.

Should I use CPC, CPA, CPM? Should I use a content lock?
Do you have any networks to recommend?
Sorry but I'm a total newbie and this website looks so much like a waste :(

If you want to monetise through the streaming of a popular TV series, use CPC because every click will give your some bucks.

Use PPI or Cpa, something like install the player to see this.
Thanks for the fast reply. They actually works? I mean I've the feeling nobody would never doing it :/ Maybe I'm just stupid. Oh I'm even running an Adblock Filter right now, and registering some email when I can. Any network suggestion :)?

PM me and i will help you get set up with an account. We specialize in the TV/Movie niche and offer Italian ads.

CPM or CPM+CPC are the best models (for me)
I have some companies where I advertise but at the same time I sell them their own traffic (and they do not mind it).

It is better to have few different companies at the same time so you can monetize same 1000 views with many companies.

ultimate tip:
use your own File (video) uploading service and offer them premium accounts discounted there to watch the videos in full speed. Non-registered users have limited speed and need therfor to prebuffer the videos.

You should shop around and see what converts for italian traffic? Good affiliate managers should tell you :)

From an advertiser's/ network's perspective Italy is a good geo and 5K users per day is a good volume for a local site and streaming sites with the right SEO gain users very fast.So it is not a waste of time. Make sure your site is attractive, user friendly and loads fast. About monetizing, most advertisers do not favor incentivized traffic. If you do want to use incentive techniques, you can find offers in networks that allow that. Try directories like offervault to find campaigns. On another note try to be creative and use different creative solutions. Instead of using content blocking that requires an action try Interstitials. Check what your competitors are doing and go a step further. Learn from experience and try to avoid malware or remove straight away any campaigns that include malware. Feel free to PM me if you want to know a bit more about the monetization solutions we offer

Why don't you use pre-roll video ads?
Video ads have great rates as well as when user visits your site you can sell video ads, banner ads etc, so this would be additional income to what you already have now and everyone got used to pre-roll ads, like on youtube.

try to use peerfly i think they have some good italian offers

The more monetization the better I think. As long as you only use one type of ads. It would be helpful as a streaming site if you could put ads in the streams themselves. Putting ads on the website too. But then from there you can't use more ads or your site looks spammy. So after Adsense ads and ads in the streams, next step is to create your own product and sell it or put up affiliate products.
