Monetize the Local Community College

I was walking to class today and I saw a flyer to "make money online". All of the tabs were ripped off, that was a good sign. So, I checked out the site that was advertised and it was a simple landing page. It seemed kind of shady, but the idea was great. This experience today made me want to post some flyers around campus and see what happens.

This is where I need some advice. I'm trying to think up different ways to monetize. These are my initial ideas so far:

- Buy a domain and advertise a CPA offer around campus. For example, a "Free Xbox" website or something like that.
- Create a small-medium size GPT site for the local students. I have a lot of experience in this field and even have a GPT script in development

These are students, so a flyer that says "Make money online" or "Free xbox" will grab their attention.

Those were my initial ideas so far. What are your guys' thoughts? I'd be grateful if you guys gave some input and maybe some vague ideas.

I would include a big QR code on the flyer - that way the students can take action immediately.

The beauty of QR codes is their versatility. You can either have a static message, or if it links to a website you can change the destination message whenever you like. If you wanted to you could even have a QR code printed on a t-shirt and advertise on the move.

I searched Fiverr for "flyers" and the results returned were just people designing or distributing flyers. Not much to spark an idea. Thanks though!

This would probably work with other offers too.

For example, flyers with a url that redirects to your health or beauty offer outside gyms and tanning salons. Payday loan offers outside pawn shops. All sorts of variations you could try.

I think that's what I'm going to do. I'm talking to an AM at Adscend Media to see if offline leads are allowed. A domain and flyers will cost me about $15-$20. That means I have to get more than 20 leads to make my money back. Seems like kind of a gamble, but its all about taking risks.

BUILD A LIST!

Whether you decide to do it through email or SMS, build a list before sending them to your CPA offer. That way you can get them to take several bites at the apple instead of just one and done.

How would I go about building a list effectively? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

The landing page would have a popup (you can find free wp plugins that do this) and offer them something for free if they
give you there email address. The free report can be all kinds of things.....a free ecourse, a list of make money programs that you have affilate links to, you could even find a plr book on internet marketing where you can replace the links in the books for hosting, autoresponder, and tools with your affilate links.

This way, you get there email address and will be able to send them CPA offers in the future instead of a one time action.

Seems pretty straight-forward.

I was thinking about creating a mini-jobs/CPA site that offers incentives. Almost like a mix between a "Get Paid To" site and a Mini-jobs site. The incentive could be a check, gift cards, or even books. The site would only be advertised around the community, not so much online. What do you guys think of that?
