Monetize fb fanpages?

Ok, so for a few years I've been building up fan pages organically, with the premise that when I get enough followers I will monetize them with things of interest to whatever the page is.

Such as t shirts or whatever that is POD no stocking or money up front.

I guess my question is how do I know when I have enough likes for that, and is this even a good strategy ??

$5 Amazon cards are kinda easy for me to come by doing surveys, still wouldn't cost me anything but time.

it's not about how many
it's about the engagement
 
Some of them have good engagement, some do not.
I have found that sharing in related groups is really helpful.
 
I've been working on some of them for at least 3 years all organic engagement
 
I own an influencer agency and work with brands who will pay influencers to give away physical products.

If your interested in that can you give me some details of your accounts and i can see if there is a fit.

If they are organic (like you said) & interested in the niche you're working on, then you're good to go, nothing to loose by trying & see the conversion rate.
Also, you'll be able to figure out the engagement of those followers by, let's say, starting a simple giveaway.
 
Yes it's all organic I have my daughter's and my sisters as admins and we all add posts to it daily pretty much..

I have organic 50k page , engagement is pretty very good, what can I do for monetize ??
