Well guys, I have a torrent site with 17k users (growing fast) that will reach around 25k soon but I'm not sure how to make it pay for it self.

Was thinking of putting up ads on the site, but what ad-networks are willing to allow me to put up there ads on a torrent site?

Also the site is not US/CA/UK/AU based, so I was thinking about a company that pays more than average on non Tire 1 geo sites. It's probably ranked in the lowest tire.

Not trying to make alot here just to get the site to run it self without having to pay for it from users donations / mods pockets.

what's wrong with the donations? a lot of torrent sites are doing this, even the bigger ones

you have expenses on server costs and such (which is true), users should understand that, so you can say something like that if they can't help you, you need to close the site, it's simple as that

on the other hand, you can try to contact VPN providers directly instead of ad-networks

This is the reason

The arrests are based on the believe that the donations where not going in to server costs but to the owners own pocket.

Trying to take out the donation part of the site's financial structure.

The site is not going to be using SC or any other CPA method to raise funds, I think it's annoying and we are not going to annoy our users, also the pay per lead will be around 10cents and at that cost we are just going to loose users rather than gain funds.

Looking for some non-superannoying ads that are just displayed and pay in CPM form

ok then, but what about i suggested above: contacting VPN providers and make some kind of agreement with them paying on pay per lead basis

it seems to be an obvious possibility knowing that people want to be safe when they're downloading/uploading

At this stage in your society the request for VPN is next to none, ppl are not afraid to get caught due to the vast amount of ppl downloading and because our law system is not very clear on the whole Torrent thing. Also there is a simple law in your constitution that states equal rights and disallows the prosecution to single out people so if one person is charged for uploading/downloading torrents they have to charge all the others (~60K individuals :p)

So the only option left is some kind of CPM ad-network offer that is willing to accept torrent sites and dose pay something for lower-tire geo traffic.

I'll give you $30 to put my banner up on your torrent site for 30 days. If your traffic backs out for me, I'll bump up the price. PM me if your interested.

I belong to a large torrent site that makes affiliate commissions by suggesting seedbox providers. I am not sure what providers have affiliate programs, but with a user base that size I am sure you can work up a deal with a few providers.

friend of mine use MadAdsMedia for his torrent site, also Epom seems proper network, 'cause I've heard many good things about them recently. Try these two!

Epom has really high rates for warez/torrent/sharing sites. And appropriate ads for these niches.

I suggest you get account with auto responding and ask users to subscribe your list then send them any affiliate link or whatever :ranger:
