I'm a little new to YouTube and have a few questions. So last year, I made 4 or 5 sexy asmr videos and stopped because life got busy. Two of them were a little bit too risque, and were labeled adult content. The channel consisted of mostly roleplays and in one video, I was reading from a romance novel.
After many months, I recently checked on this dormant channel, and found some of those videos have hundreds of thousands of views. I believe the niche is still popular, so I want to try to revive the channel and hopefully become monetized. I plan to delete all the current videos and make some that are less likely to be labeled adult content. There's only about eight hundred subscribers on the channel.
Will the videos labeled adult content, even though I am going to delete them, prevent me from becoming monetized?
Is it better to simply start over? I'm a little bit shy of 1,000 subscribers. I already deleted a video labeled adult content that wasn't bringing me many views as the others.
