Monetization with Vines Videos on Youtube?

Hi guys, just wanted to ask a really quick question.

Does those guys who uploads vines videos with lots of subscribers with them and they put ads on their videos makes money?

Are they able to monetize it?

Unless you have 100% permission to use ALL the videos, no you can't. A couple of compilation videos I uploaded a few days ago got hit by 10 fucking copyright strikes (probably more to come). Disputing as fair use won't make a difference as they (network bitches) would just reinstate the claim and you can't do shit about it. The ad revenue goes straight to the network who filed the claim, leaving you with 0.00$.
There are ways around it but it takes a lot more work.

I might be wrong in this regard, but that's how my experience with doing this went so far. You'll be surprised by how many of these vine creators are actually partnered.
