I have bought over 100,000 views from different providers but only a dozen views are monetizable?
How do you get Monetizable Views?

how long has it been? youtube likes to think over anything they do.
one time my views were frozen for two days, then shot into 5k a vid
 
It's been weeks. I see all my views counted, but only 12 of them are Monetizable Views.
How do I get Monetatizble Views?
 
You will need organic traffic from searches or from advertised media views. Gone now are the days where I got money from ANY view providers, now I get money from keeping people happy on my channel.
 
Yeah I can't find any views provider that offers Monetizable Views
 
Ha. I also just bought 100k views about a week ago and noticed that around 80-90% were monetizable views, I checked adsense and only about like 20% showed up in the impressions. Got me thinking, with those views you could become a Machinima partner or fullscreen or something and just rake in the locked CPM money.

I'm with machinima on one of my channels, if I buy views would I be able to make a profit?
 
Bought views usually are not monetizable. If you buy monetizable views or bought views turn out to be monetizable and you get paid, then you are committing fraud. If found out then at the minimum your account will be terminated. Depending on your location and on the scale that you were doing fraud they might try to get the money back and you might end up in jail.

Youtube, partner networks and advertisers are going to be combating this. My standing on the issue is that you can't get far by stealing and if you do, then you could be looking at some serious consequences. Consequences that I personally have no desire to deal with. Besides that you could sully your name (your actual name, not the channel) and no partner network (at least the good ones) will take you.

There is no point flushing your reputation down the drain for peanuts, unless you plan on being a bottom feeder for the rest of your life.

Theoretically, yes. I'm not a Machnima partner but I was actually considering signing up and just botting monetizable views and seeing the Rate Of Return. Since they pay per CPM and not clicks, you should make a profit assuming you can find a supplier that can sell monetizable views for less than the CPM you have. (basic math skills required)

What is wrong with my post? If you get caught then Machinima is sure to terminate the contract and never deal with you again. You can use someone else's identity or make a new company and hope that they don't notice, but that isn't the same.

If you were stealing $10,000s-$100,000s of thousands of dollars and resided in the US, then you are going to be in a bit of trouble. On the other hand, if you are in a country that doesn't extradite to the US or wherever you stole from, then you are going to be OK. If the fraud amounts to a couple of hundred $ a month, then why even bother?

This is your professional reputation that is at stake here. If you ruin it, then you might find that it is very hard to do business in your field again. Sure the internet provides some anonymity, but I wouldn't rely on that.

Networks that pay with a forced CPM will pay based off how much monetizable views you have, there's no way for them to really know it's bullshit unless they see comments, likes, etc but you could just say that you posted it on fb, twitter, etc. Since machinima has 5,000+ channels in their network do you think they look at all the videos by everyone to see comments, likes, etc? No.

Also this isn't "stealing" this is more or less exploiting. Youtube offers a very flawed method of showing stats to networks via CMS that are in favour of us black hats.

But the thing is that in order to earn a respectable living from it you'll have to buy A LOT of them to counterbalance what you spent on the views. This is how all this is going to go down.

Stage 1. Buy monetizable views.
Stage 2. Twitter and FB stuff won't fly anymore, buy comments, likes, favorites.
Stage 3. Comments, likes and favorites cost money, need more views.
Stage 4. You have way too many views for the subscribers that you are getting. Your content is shit, not too many organic ones. Time to buy subscribers and even more views.
Stage 5. Your channel/persona seems to be really popular, but your content sucks and social signals don't add up. Something seems fishy.
Stage 6. You are found out!

If your content is actually any good then you'll need to buy views, likes, favorites, subscribers and comments in the beginning to jumpstart your channel and that is it. You'll get views and subs naturally from then on.

Then maybe you'll stay below the radar. You are also going to need to provide content for those channels (5+ hours a day). If you can do that then great! Who cares if you're under the radar. Machinima won't know since with 5k channels there's no way to investigate this and even notice. Regarding other youtubers being a little skeptical, who the fuck cares. Buy around 20k monetizable views for around 10$ with a 3$ CPM you get 60$ minus the expense of 10$ and you have 50$ profit, lets assume you do give a fuck about the skeptical users, when you can buy couple hundred likes for few dollars, same with comments. Overall you will make more profit on a weekly basis and the old saying you have to spend a little to get a a lot, you can easily use your profits to buy even more views, and repeat the whole process.

From the looks of your issues are stemming from the ethical side of your brain, and we're black hats. If we gave a fuck about the advertisers you wouldn't see hundreds if not thousands of sellers selling views, likes, comments, etc.

You are naive. Machinima (and other partner networks) are companies that need to make a profit, they are not charities. If advertisers don't see a return on their investment then CPM will fall. If it is found out that monetizable views are being bought and people are being paid (on a large scale), then they might as well close shop. This threatens their business model and they do care and they are checking.

Another thing, while Machinima may be paying you a fixed CPM they can see how much someone brought in of if ads were clicked. They just choose to pay you at a fixed rate, instead of a percentage.

In order to earn $30,000 a year doing that at $3 CPM you'll need to buy 12,000,000 views. People are going to notice and partner networks do care. You would be able to see that there is something wrong with the channel by just looking at it. It'll take 1 day to just physically look at all the 5000 channels. Google has programs to identify click fraud. What makes you think that these networks don't have their own to detect botted views?

okay now, what if I become a machinima partner? and have great game play content. I'm one of the best players in a certain game that machinima supports. What if I buy thousands of comments and millions of views and thousands of subscriptions. Will I be found for fraud?

you should be ok if you don't buy monetizable views, otherwise you are sure to lose your contract if found out.

Yes log in to Youtube, click the Analytics button at the top, then click "Views" on the right. That will tell you your view count and your Monetizable View count.
