Hi, I have a blog which receives about 50-60 visits a day. 120 people have left comments but no one clicks on the adsense ads.
Any suggestions (black or white hat) to improve the nonexistent click- through rate on the ads would be very welcome.

What's the niche?

You can use an adserver or something and rotate adsense, amazon, ebay, CPA offers and see what converts better.

Build a list if you can (use PopUp Domination or free AWeber lightbox pop up).

Where are you putting your ads?

I recommend large square separating the title and the content. Pretty solid 1% ctr

yes I have a pregnancy tips and article blog and I dont get any clicks either, just blog posts from visitors

Are you sure these comments are from real people or spam comments? I'm asking this because I have a rather old blog with just 2 pages that I no longer update. It receives at least 10-20 new (spam) comments everyday. ;)

I wouldn't put much value on the comments...

Since your current ad placement is not working, COMPLETELY switch it up and see if that helps.

If not, then probably your visitors just aren't in buying mode, maybe try something other than adsense, like some kind of email submit or something.

Btw do you have any other stats on your visitors? Like your bounce rate and the avg. time spent on site?

interesting.. try relating the ads to the article? higher chance of visitors clicking on the ads
