Monetising Gaming Site? How?

Hi peeps.

Currently I am running a website in the gaming niche. Daily I am averaging around 500-1000 hits when new content is posted. I have adsense already on the site but I am not really making anything from it.

Anyone have any good ideas on how to monetise it? CPA is a no go so I need a different idea.

Help is much appriciated.

I know of a gaming site being sponsored by Cheetos and they make games with ads 'n in and stuff. And they promote it by featuring it, adding achievements to the game etc. Or, what they also do is e.g. when a new PS3 or w/e famous game comes out, they have this themed week (with the sponsor's game being the theme) and people can temporarily collect wallpapers and avatars and whatnot. Be creative! I've got a TON of ideas lmao.
