Hey guys,

My site gives out free stuff, im not gonna say what but it gives out free stuff.

How do you profit from someone who only comes to your site takes your content and leaves.

i get around 6k unique hits a day and i only have adsense

What ever you do try and get a list of emails.

And you might have to give a little more details so we can better help you out.

Is your site a membership site? Do people need to sign up? Or can they just go to your site and take the free stuff? Is the free stuff ebooks?

I cant because the links f the songs are previewable, so I cant bind the file with anything else.

Hmm yeah I can do that, but that would cut my traffic like crazy dont you think ? And throw away my visitors

You could possibly implement a premium service. Free members can only download X amount of songs per day but premium ones are unlimited or something like that.

Does linkbucks pay per impression ? How does it work ?

You can add a "donation" option for your site.
I think it is a good way. But it may not bring much money
But worth having it.

I tried it...in 2 months the most i got was like 20 bux

You could also have the files downloadable and put a bunch of affiliate links in there (as shortcut files)...

I don't know man. Why don't you check out the big free music sites (pandora, grooveshark) and see what they are running as far as advertisements go...

I think im going to use linkbucks, so when they click dl to go to the filesharring site, that appears :)

Good idea ?

Hey Jano, what you are looking for is a "content unlocker". Several networks that are heavy on incentives do this (such as InstantDollars, CPALead, etc.).

Hey Jano, i have a music site with about 1k uniques a day. Right now i am using NeverBlue and their mp3 crawler toolbar install offer. It pays $1.10 per install. I mask it and add it where the download link is. After trying donations, ringtones, stuffing, work at home, paid surveys and contests, this has been by far the best money. I tried CPALead gateway with little success and i think their design is extremely ugly and looks unprofessional.

If you're getting a lot of return visitors you will see your traffic drop though.

PS - Be careful with Adsense, its against their terms to distribute copyrighted material (even if you are not hosting it). People have been banned for putting Adsense on mp3 sites.
