Scammers, Spammers, and Scoundrels. The internet has plenty of them, and that is exactly why we have an automated moderation system in place. Before you break under the anticipation of clicking the "Post reply" or "New thread" buttons please read this to make your first post a breeze.
Let me guess you received this message:
"You are trying to post a message that has triggered our moderation system. Double check our rules to make sure you are posting something that is appropriate. We don't tolerate any selling, posting contact information, urls, swearing, giving thanks ect... Please understand this is to protect our community from spammers. Once you have been a member of BHW for a longer period of time this limit will be removed. Thank you! "
Now since you are new to the forum and have under 50 post or 30 days as an active member let's
take a look at some quick tips to solve this problem.
Avoid contact information:
You are not allowed to include your contact information into a post or threads you start, and yes that
includes email, skype, and hyperlinks to private messages.
No links, pictures or videos whatsoever:
You cannot include any links and they do not have to be hyperlinks either! This includes but isn't limited to the
partial makeup of links in text form. As stated just before you cannot include pictures or videos yet either.
Phrases to avoid:
Here is a nice little list of phrases to avoid while making new post or starting
new threads as a new member to our community.
Skype
Contact me
Email me
buy this
pm
private message me
Avoid the @ symbol
Truth is as a new member you should not need any of these anyway. Calm down and read everything first before
you go on a posting or thread starting marathon. You need 15 quality and I repeat quality post in order to private
message anyway. After you are around awhile longer and have more quality post this automatic moderation system
will fade away and you will never see her again!
