Model girl page - my experience and questions

Hello all,

I am currently running a model/sexy girl page and trying to get more likes to later start monetizing it.

The page is currently at 10k likes.

I've tries a number of methods to promote it, tried a few of my own ideas and also several ideas from this forum.

What I can say is that the only one way which worked for me was to create fake profiles, reach 5000 friends and then mass invite them to like my page. The conversion factor with those invites was up to 10%.

I've tried duplicating celebrities fanpages, tried making people to share my posts, tagging some other people or posting on their timelines - none of that really worked. The fake fanpages seem to get banned very quickly, neither they give any visible results.

So, I am currently looking for a ways to promote the page rather than friend invites. Does anyone has any ideas to share? Any hints would be appreciated.

It seems that I am getting pretty good results with my posts. They get up to 500 likes, 100 comments. The engagement rate is around 20% as per the facebook insights.

Maybe I need to select some niche and add some niche content, maybe use some hashtags. Just not sure where to start.

I never understood how people could build such a large following with fake model pages, how do people not realize that it's fake? It isn't that difficult to reverse image search a picture on Google these days, so maybe it's not resonating with people as much because they're well aware of this technique now?

You never know, obviously real model Facebook pages have a realistic and authentic appeal to them so if there was a way to mimic that you'd be set.

No point arguing that real stuff would perform better, but I guess a lot of people just don't care or can't be bothered doing the reverse image search. They are suggested some content, they like it, and they are happy enough to see some of it coming up every now and then. Well, that's just how I see it.
