Is it me or is this section of the forum very quiet ;)

How much is everyone charging clients for mobile optimized website design? Also how are you charging your clients?

Monthly subscription
Initial payment + monthly subscription
One off payment..?

Dont under sell yourself the above pricing works for me. Once you get them into a mobile site you got lots of up sells to offer $$$$$. The mobile site is just the start beginning of the cash cow.
 
It all depends on who your clients are. Some people pay these prices and they don't care. Then there are a ton of people who say they are on a budget and don't even want to pay $10 a month for hosting. You just need to find the right clientele.

There is a huge difference between building something for a customer using a website builder - which you can do for as low as 30-50$ per month - and charging for a quality mobile website using in house development. People who charge 1200$+ per mobile website design do not use website builders.

We do not offer pre paid packages to our customers, we look at what they need and give them a quote afterwards with their options. Some people need a mobile app, some people need a mobile website, some people need to re-code their existing website using a responsive design methodology and there is no need to build an extra mobile website for them, etc..
 
$397 one-time for a 5 page site on their domain.
$9 a month if I host it
$25 extra for each page over 5
$97 for a CMS system so they can update the site themselves

I tell them I'll rebate them $100 for every paying client they send my way

yeah i had problem with some people dont want to pay 30$ and some got design for free, and still bithin, others i usually charge between 300 and 700
