Newbie here just getting into Reddit marketing. I've purchased several premium static residential proxies from Proxy-Cheap and am using AdsPower to manage profiles. However, a couple of my accounts have been suspended (only quality comments with no links or anything promotional). I've seen people claiming mobile proxies work better, but I'm not sure. My current problem is that the static residential proxies are $10 per month, which can become significant depending on the number of profiles. I just purchased several aged accounts, and am not sure what to do with them. It seems like I could burn a ton of money paying $10 per proxy and then half of them getting burned.

With mobile proxies, it's my understanding that you can use the same proxy for each profile, and as long as you rotate the IP between sessions and don't open multiple profiles at the same time on AdsPower, you could connect many profiles to the same proxy. I went ahead and purchased a mobile proxy from Proxy-Cheap and then tried to access gmail and was immediately blocked.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what's best to do and any tips on how to do it.

Personally had to handle multiple profiles using one mobile proxy. I'd say it's quite good value out of it and yeah, accessing it one at a time and being mindful about the rotations, never really encountered an issue on any of the accounts, at least not from the connection and access side with this. Had to get several more proxies for simultaneous account access. Handy for automation too since you can hook it up using APIs. Again, that's for handling multiple accounts of course. For just one, as long as you get residential IPs of reasonably good quality and mindful use, you should fare just fine.

Even people using mobile proxies get bans like you say you've had. Warming accounts has become a real art lately

Warming up 3,000 accounts for 2 weeks, 15 minutes each day, doesn’t lead to many bans. However, after those 2 weeks, starting to comment results in a lot of bans triggered by humans again.

You mention the art of warming up. Would you mind sharing some insights?

What I’m doing for 2 weeks is humanizing browsing automation but not automating commenting.

Does Reddit already flag your account during that time and just wait for you to comment to ban you?

Might be an issue with consistency or anomalous login/ account activities. It's really a hit or miss with Reddit particularly. Might want to change up how your bots access the account or make the logins seem more organic than having an identifiable pattern to then. Also, you gotta comment semi regularly with them since going from nothing to suddenly commenting (volume and interval also factors) will trip up the algo. A lot of factors can affect it, really. These are just the ones which are off the top of my head. There should be strategy posts that go in depth with warming up here which you can search for and hopefully get something out of. Best of luck.

Reddit’s got static resi proxies mapped out. Mobile is less predictable, but Gmail blocks might mean your proxy is flagged already.

same thing happened to me using proxy cheap. proxy cheap proxies suck. they are not premium. try pingproxies

Reddit is definitely tricky because it’s sensitive to IP patterns, device fingerprints, and account history. Static residential proxies are safer for 1:1 account use but pricey if accounts burn.

Mobile proxies let you share across accounts because carriers use NAT, so IPs look more natural but Gmail/Google blocks can still happen if the IP has a bad history.

Mobile proxies tend to have higher trust with Reddit because IPs are shared across real users, so flags are less likely but Gmail blocks them often. If you go mobile rotate IPs between logins and avoid simultaneous sessions. Also warm accs slowly.

What is your account warmup method?

Yeah I would highly suggest mobile IPs, as companies such as ATT and Verizon use a system called carrier grade natting which allows multiple people to be on a single mobile IPv4 at one time. This system is less likely to see blocks because of not wanting to block normal traffic on the websites end. With anything related to skirting around website security the best move is trying to look as human as possible. Make sure to look at the proxy marketplace in BHW for mobile options.

Cheers,
Bryce
