Mobile Views

So I was just checking my old channels and noticed 1 video on a channel that I didn't care about was getting few hundred thousand views, when looking at where the views came from I noticed more than 50% came from Mobile Views.

Should I be alarmed as in do you think a third party is hitting the video with fake views? or are people just watching the videos more on Mobile devices nowadays?

Your getting the views and doing nothing to promote it? Maybe do a google search for your video's link and see if someplace like a blog or something did a plug for your video or something that could have caused the renewed interest in your video....use the google search modifiers to find all your videos links around the web....

Yeah although lots of mobile views are illegit. people watch youtube on their iphones, ipods, android tablets, ipads, TV playstation xbox hand held devices pdas, blu-ray players, game consoles and more. So its pretty normal. If you are a greedy bastard,you can turn off mobile views for your video and force people to watch froma computer, but i don't reccomend it!

My youtube channel got 62% mobile views last month... WTH... Worst of all I do the youtube partner program so they dont pay for mobile views.
