Mobile Referal traffic is assigned as Direct/Not set in Analytics

Well, Ii never heard of it, but I suppose it could be true. There may be some issues with browser redirects in mobile sessions, for example when you see the window "Open this link in a browser?"

It may well be counted as direct link pasting and thus considered direct traffic by algorithms

It may just show as direct. But referral thing is still there and if users use chrome browser the system knows it is a click from referer URL so the SEO power of such hits wouldn't be diminished, just cause it is counted as direct/not set.

Yeah, but the analytics dashboard in that case could become quite misleading
