1. Always keep logs or ensure that your proxy software provider does and can provide them upon request. Store these logs for several years! Law enforcement requests often pertain to incidents from years past.
2. Keep a registry of your clients so that you can accurately track who bought a proxy connection from a specific SIM card, even after a long time.
3. Feel free to ask buyers about their plans for using the proxy. Let them know you keep logs.
4. Try not to deal with totally anonymous buyers. Have them verify their phone number at least, and keep all messages. If you want extra security, you could draft a proxy sales agreement (I can send you a template if you need one in dm).
5. Block access to government websites (which usually have specific address formats, like *.gov) and banks through the proxy at the software level. It’s a good idea to implement this, at least for your own country, to ensure safety.
