Mobile proxies requirements?

Hey everyone!

I've been exploring a lot of threads here on BHW, especially in the Proxies Marketplace section, and I have a couple of questions about choosing a mobile proxy provider.

When you’re selecting a provider, what are the most important factors for you? I’d love to hear your opinions, maybe even ranked by your personal preferences.

Here are a few things I’m curious about:

• Price?
• Geo-locations?
• Ping?
• Fingerprint?
• Any additional anonymity features beyond IP rotation?

Get a trial before the purchase, so that you can sure the proxies suitable for your project.

Speed, IP rotation method, protocol support, and packet loss are all huge when it comes to serious use cases. I also agree with those suggesting trial testing — sometimes what looks good on paper doesn’t hold up under real-world conditions. This kind of thread is exactly why I check BHW — solid, practical info from people actually in the trenches.

I’d add to what was already said -- support and how easy it is to talk to the seller is a big deal too. Sooner or later, stuff will break or go wrong, and it really helps when the person on the other side doesn’t disappear and actually helps sort things out.

It depends. What is your usecase? Are you creating/warming social media accounts? Are you managing social media accounts on a longer term basis? Are you creating artificial engagement on sm? Are you scraping data? What data? Different usecases, different priorities.

If speed/bandwidth is important (for example you need to be able to view videos) - use 5g/4g+ proxies (minimum cat6/cat12) with good latency to your location.

Ip rotation/change speed is also important in some usecases. Some small time providers use the power down/reset modem/module method and that could mean a downtime of even 30 seconds. Get a provider that has standby proxies and switches instantly.

Ip range is also important for some usecases. Even though most mobile proxies are using CGNAT/have many ips available, you should check with the vendor the pool size available.

To avoid fingerprinting just use a good provider without leaks and a good Antidetect Browser
