I see I don't qualify but I'm still very interested and could hopefully be an exception if what I'm doing sounds interesting. I'm in the process of starting a fully managed package for business owners to handle their SMS marketing. I am partnering up with a local web development agency in my town who is realizing they need to expand their skill set. I'm confident I can get a large handful of clients paying a monthly retainer for this service.
To sell I speak over the phone, try to book a time to speak in the future when it's a good time for them. I also get email so I can send them a landing page I built branded for the web dev agency. My plan is to be the sales guy and let the staff here handle the customer satisfaction and I can just collect a % of the retainer.
We plan to offer weekly phone support to offer guidance, campaign brainstorming, custom software coding, and creating materials to advertise their text messaging list to their customers. These include various ideas; handing a card to customers after a purchase, using table tents, posters, fliers, stickers, etc.
