Mobile Install Ads redirecting to App Store / Google Play

i did some research in the meantime and found out about the google policy change as well - but that's just a policy change, not a software-based solution eliminating the possibilty of doing this, right? just yesterday i've encountered this again, when opening twitpic on my googlephone.

sorry, i didn't keep the url of the website. probably it wouldn't help as well, because often if i reload the page, most of the time the culprit ad is gone and there's a different one.
however, i returned to the website that opened that app store and clicked on the ad and saved the link, but i can't post it here, since i am not allowed to post URLs at the moment.

put the url without the http:// in a code snippet block or put it on pastebin, I'm not typing all that out lol

Ok, I see what it's going to, but that alone isn't able to tell me anything about how the redirection is taking place without clicking on the banner. I am pretty sure it's via javascript inside the ad tag/code, and then redirecting with that, but I can't be 100% sure without viewing the source of the page in question.

just out of interest: would it be possible for anyone of the parties involved to eliminate this practice? for example the webmaster, the network selling that inventory or someone else? for example by not allowing javascript? could i face serious consequences if i use this method?

The new google dev policy says this is not a legit way to get downloads.

There are few ad networks that has these type of ads(popup, popunder redirect) which I won't mention(sorry) cuz there are not many.
I've already given you a clue so you may be able to find it now.
I am currently using this method to drive traffic to app install offers so you can ask questions if any.
Also one of the good converting offer was taken down as someone was caught using promoting using this method so CPA networks are really following the new G Play policies and banning the ones that are promoting using this.

If you are still running this method and direct linking to google playstore are you doin a double meta redirect so networks cant see?

Nope not direct linking to playstore but for iOS campaigns I am direct linking sometimes.(Apple don't have problem with this yet)
Don't direct link to playstore offers Advertisers are really strict for this as Google will directly REMOVE their app if caught doing this.
I already got 5-10 emails from networks reminding me of the new playstore policy.
