Hi,

I'm having an issue with some of the local SEO i'm currently working on. I rank number 3 for my keyword on both mobile and desktop searches, the first 2 positions above me are two webpages from the same authority site in the niche. The problem i'm having is in a desktop search I rank 3rd just above the google local maps listing which is where i am happy to be.. HOWEVER when i do the same search but on my mobile i rank just below the google local maps while the 2 webpages from the one authority site ranks above the local maps listing.

I have recently (a month ago) designed my website to be mobile friendly with a different mobile page for mobile users. This i thought might solve my issue, however it has not. How can i keep my position above the google local maps listing in the mobile version of google search?

Has anyone had any similar issues and maybe a solution or can point me in the right direction?

Hello, Work on Google Developers page speed insights for mobile version SEO!

You must to have 5+ rules passed, to provide rich user experience to your mobile users.
It is not advised to compare with the BRAND websites like "Black Hat World". They rank better, even they have low grade in mobile rendering.

Mobile site SEO is pretty complicated sometimes, Try ranking your website in the 1st position of Mobile Search neither targeting to 3rd position.

Hi,

Cheers for the pointer, this is what i optimized a month ago.. at the moment I have 100% user experience and a "green" 6 parsed rules for speed (88/100).

What else could it be? why would google place my website below the maps listing only for the mobile search.
