I want a mobile content locker where a code is displayed on the users screen, they have to opt in to the SMS list, txt the code and get another code in response which they have to enter to unlock the content. A bonus feature would be a way to identify their device, so if they opt-out from the list, it locks the content again.

Has anyone built something like this yet, preferably a Wordpress plugin that works with different back-end sms solutions?

I could code this in ASP.NET using the TextMark API but I've got a Wordpress site where I want to try this.

Why not have them submit their number and have the site send them a SMS with the link and subscribe them to a list... This is relatively easy done with twilio API... If your using a short code service you may need them to tick a checkbox to accept that they are signing up to receive SMS messages...

What's the link for your API many SMS Apis are relatively similar

Will look into doing this as a plugin for wordpress

Hey man. I would be able to create a script using a text message API that creates a unique content locker code for each user and stores their information in a database so that if they ever opt-out, they will lose access to the content. Please PM me so we can negotiate the details.

can i ask ..... ok noob question, but yes i am totally noob when it comes to this.

i have 200k details which inc. name , address , mobile number ,....... uk only.
