Mobile Blogging Setup

    Have you run your blog for a long period of time with an iPad/Tablet or Smartphone setup? What tools or workflow did you use?

    From My research about these, i found these points,

    1. Don’t Make separate mobile friendly site. Make website which is the user friendly website.
    2. Make redirection as per device use.
    3. Provide an option for mobile visitors to view desktop version as well.
    4. Use responsive web design
    5. Check all the design in all kind of mobile types & tablets
    6. Check in Google webmaster tools à Crawl à crawl errors à Smartphone
    7. Include viewport Meta tag
    8. Check all mobile page has been submitting to google via an XML sitemap
    9. Keep the mobile page separate from the desktop page.
    10. Use server side redirects on mobile sites
    11. Check the links size. (Button size)
    12. Don’t use any kind of pop-ups. It will irritate mobile users.
    13. Do proper navigation method. Confirm that user can easily go the entire pages in the website.
    14. Don’t use unnecessary pictures
    15. Check the speed for the mobile device
    16. Confirm the videos on the mobile site use HTML video player.


    Don’t stop testing.
