Do you know any research tool to check demand, current trends, competition for a mobile app focusing on android platform?
If you can suggest any name having a trial too - I will appreciate it.

Keywordtool.io will give those data but you will need to enter a keyword though.
Buiitwith will give those data but indirectly:

The idea is that apps have websites with links to google app store and builtwith captures that data.
You can get keywordtool.io group but for few dollars
You can get one off builtwith report like for 40$ or so on fiverr , but yeah builtwith is expansive with no trials.

appfigures is solid too and has trial-ish options

for android only i’d also check google trends plus play console keyword data if u have access
