Sorry to do this but I've tried searching and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.
There was a thread a while back, I want to say it was a few months ago, that was about getting cheap installs for mobile apps using adwords. The posters strategy was to target specific apps that were similar to the app he was advertising. The poster also showed a method to target apps that were new/popular that hadn't shown up in the adwords targeting options yet.
There was a video that was posted. If I remember correctly, the video was originally hosted on a source that resulted in low quality so it was transferred to youtube.
If anyone remembers the thread and can post a link to the thread or video I would appreciate it. There was some good information in the video.
