I bought a few .mobi domains over the past 2 weeks. I use internet BS, and the first few updated pretty quickly and I was able to resolve to my nameserver. But this latest one I bought 4 days ago, and its still not resolving.
I am hosting DNS. If I do an nslookup and set the server to my dns server, I can lookup all the entries for this domain just fine. I've pointed the domain at my nameserver on Internet BS. Nothing is misconfigured, I did 10 other domains along with this one the same way (but not .mobi's) and they are all working great.
So, was wondering if anyone knew if the mobi root servers are having trouble or is this a common problem? How long am I going to have to wait for their DNS to update?
When I do an ANY query in nslookup it is trying to use this server:
a0.mobi.afilias-nst.info
What's weird is it does resolve my nameserver, e.g. ns1.xxxxxxxx.mobi. Not the other A or MX though.
If I try and query for instance www.xxxxx.mobi, it returns non-existent domain.
Am I just going to have to wait a few more days? Does this happen with mobi's a lot?
