So then; for microniche sites, how many posts of content do you think they need? I have ranked websites with just 1 post, but I usually do 5. The more the better obviously, but I get extremely lazy and tired of copywriting, so I usually create 5 500+ posts. Ranking a website with 5 posts is substantially easier than ranking a website with just 1.

So what about you? How many posts do you think they need?

You reckon 5 is good huh. I wish/hope so. Its about all my patience can handle in one day ;) plus, that means that you can create twice the number of MNS than if you have to write 10 posts for each site. Have you had experience in finding it easy/less difficult to rank a 10 page site over a 5 page site? I myself just haven't really paid attention to it. Most of my sites are either corporate sites, or little mico sites.

dpend on kw i will do 10 post anything over 10k searches

I agree with ok888 whenever I have any real competition ill post 10 or more.

Haha, what is "real competition"? :P Backlinks seem to be better to me than content. But maybe thats just because I've only ever used crap content ;)

Super easy KWs probably just need 5 + about us/contact us page. I laugh whenever someone contacts me through my contact us page asking a serious question about the topic of my MNS. Uh, I don't know a thing buddy ;)

Well I might run a little test. Create 1 with 5, and another with 10. The one with 10 is in a harder niche. We'll see how it ranks in comparison :) I will run a little case study, and I will use the same amount of backlinks for each.

Why not consider developing your MNS for the long term future and upgrading to an AS

You will get your ROI back time after time - well worth the commitment

Oh I totally do want to create an AS :) I think that is the way forward in the future and its what I really want to personally get into. I've gotten good at ranking MNS. Now its time to make them profitable :) thanks for the link to your thread, I've thanked it and will look over it more extensively later.

I've heard that 6 is the minimum, but my site has 5 posts with 450+ words each

I ranked most of the sites with 4 articles and each 300 words. Competition research is the key.

Mmmm. Competition research. The best part of the process... besides successfully ranking and making any money, of course :D

I never update content on my MNS :D Just too lazy ;) it never negatively effects the rankings, it might be because of the low competition.
