MNS -- Can you really make a profit with them?

Been watching these MNS providers BSTs and I started wondering, how would you make $50 per month from a MNS

Assuming the keyword you're targeting has 1k US searches
Another assumption of you hitting #1

Now doing the math:

You will receive %45 of traffic being on #1 -- So that is 450 UV per month.
Assuming your CTR is 5% -- That is almost 23 clicks per month.
Then.. they state CPC is minimum $1 -- Since you get 60% or whatever from it, that is $0.60 per click
So 23 x 0.6 = ~ $13 per month

I want to know if I am doing the right math or not..

1000 Searches is not enough for me i got for 1500 minimum.
And Yes stll can be made money i made from 2600 local searches 10 Eur per day only on second place

because you have to use other keywords too and don't forget that you rank for Long tail too

Yes, you can definitely make money from them. However it is important to realize that things won't always work out as you expect. Just because it says it has 1000 searches doesn't mean you'll actually get traffic. By contrast, I've had sites that say they barely have any searches and they get plenty of high paying traffic.

Its always a bit of a surprise.

Even if 1 site makes 10$ per month, 50 MNS will make 50x10=500-1000$ minimum. Which is Good Amount.

Keep in mind that you'll probably get traffic for all your other keywords too. In the end, it'll add up to your earnings.
You'll find some thread there about MSN Journey, search for the one of Deadsopoly, very interesting, you'll learn a lot.

Also a 1000 searches $1 CPC EMD MNS will have such a low seo competition you will rank first with almost no seo.

I still dont understand the concept or how to do a MNS site I know someone was offering a free mns site
as a giveaway, i was hoping too use that as a map.

As MNS easy to rank so 13$ per month per MNS is good.Make 100 of them then you make 1300$ per month
