Would there be SEO benefits if I mix some unique content to my auto blog? Would Google rank both the unique content and the my duplicate content?

Google would probably only rank unique content but its not a good idea to do that.Stick to unique content and you will rank better on Google.

Obviously is better to do only unique content but I have a few blogs where I mixed and it's working well. Some of my content is from feeds and some is written by me, had no trouble ranking for both.

I have a site where I wrote a bunch of unique articles to start with (around 60), and I got a little love from Google. I then turned it into an autoblog (as I didnt have time to continue writing articles). It auto spins all the content before posting, and all the new autoblog articles rank pretty well for their longtail phrases - I think this is because of the initial unique content and G love

On one of my blogs im currently running as a buffer for my main site im mixing spun PLR articles with unique articles. So far it seems to be doing ok.

The only content that Google loves is unique content and the rest of the Search Engines tend to follow.
