Do any of you guys use miva for your PPC? Clicks seems to be cheap, especially if compared to the big G. I dont know if it's just me but the quality of traffic seems to be shitty.
Thanks is advance for your answers

absolutely horrendous traffic

Yep, you get into the 2nd and 3rd tier search engines and Miva's traffic is "mostly shitty" where a GoClick in "completely shitty".

thanks for the response guys. I can't believe it but I actually made one clickbank sale from miva traffic, i think is just an accident though. Besides adwords and msn, do you know any other search networks that are worth trying?

You might want to give 7search a try. I haven't used them personally but I have read good things about the quality of their traffic. I agree with havok and monty about miva--they seriously suck. They drained a $50 account for me in less than 24 hours and I made EXACTLY $6.21...... The ad I wrote was pretty good I thought and my landing page was just brimming with money-makers. The only conclusion I could come up with was that the traffic was shitty.

Very true about draining the account. Doesnt matter which settings I use I almost always end up with zero balance at the end of the day. I will check 7 search out

I am testing out Adbrite right now, but I am not impressed with the results so far. You can get really cheap clicks for about 5 cents but the CTR is horrible and I have yet to even get a lead from the traffic I received so far. You can't go wrong with Adwords. You just need to really stay on top of every campaign and test and track everything down to individual keywords.

Try the adbrite full page ads. You can get them for like 1/3rd of a cent they can be good.

Dont forget about Yahoo Search Marketing, they just implemented a new quality score so you can get cheaper than .10 cents now

AdBrite PPC blows. Haven't tried the full page ads though.

I may check out Yahoo. I haven't used them before.

I also heard that 7search was pretty good and the ppc seems to be cheaper than G. Just starting to try them out myself.

7Search is OK, and, in certain cases, so is GoClick (but you can't open a new account there anymore). It's all about the niche. Miva was just a waste.

MSN ppc traffic sucks, they have too many bugs in their system. Their control panel is not user friendly, and they overcharged my account by $500. I had only intended to use the $100 voucher but somehow their system did not tell my campaign to stop. It took a month, but I got it figured out. Adwords is too damn expensive. Miva sucks. Spent $250 with no conversions and highly targeted long tail keywords, good adcopy, and inexpensive clicks. Adbrite ppc...hahahahahaha...absolutely the worst! Unfortunately your best bet is adwords. Its expensive but you will convert more using google and paying for 100 clicks versus 10,000 clicks on miva and adbrite.

Dont just go for cheap!

Looks like the recent hack deleted my last post here. Anyways, basically what I did is duplicated my miva campaign in 7 search. I am monitoring the results now to see if it brings any results. So far i am noticing a huge drop in click volume and no conversions as a result. I will try a couple of other niches with seven search and post back here.

man, I really abused the word result, didnt I? :)
