Misusing guest articles.

I get a lot of original guest articles for publishing on my tech blog though my blog's 'write for us' page and guest posting forums. I don't want my blog's PR 3 to get affected by giving away a do-follow link in every article. I'll write my own articles from now on-wards.

Is there a way to misuse the articles that I get to make money? How can I do it in a safe way without the contributors finding about it?

Your blogs homepage PR won't be affected, unless your homepage is linking out to a ton of different sources with no extra links pointing. There is no thing as site wide PR, Pagerank is calculated Page by page.

What is more concerning is that it will look like your blog is just made for guest posts is that it might not pass Google manual review, depending on the quality of the posts. Are you allowing for links pointing through keyword targeted anchor text and are you including an author bio for each piece?

Tell people you only accept generic anchor text links and no author bio's. Then it doesn't appear your acting as what is essentially a glorified article directory which is the thing I would be personally worried about.

You could always do a reciprocal guest post, you do one for them now and then you post theres later.

If you are wondering what you could do with the articles you COULD:
Spin it and use it for lower tiered stuff, article sites, directories etc
Put it up, and make it a nofollow backlink....
Sell it

I am not saying I would do any of those things, but those are some choices. At the end of the day it is only yourself that you have to explain your actions to so whatever floats your boat I guess.
