I know (having worked with you guys for a brief period of time) you and MisterF did a great job moderating.

I can only assume they are moving towards only in-house moderators. That's the best-case scenario I can come up with. I doubt any person with a spine will volunteer after giving you a worse goodbye than i give to my worn-out underwear.

I have a tendency to jump to conclusions too soon. I hope someone sheds us some info. Coz I still can't understand what exactly happening here.

Inhouse mods would be such a bad move from my perspective, they are not one of us... It's better to have mods who understand the community than mods who don't...

There already are in-house mods, there’s a mix.

You’re correct about Volunteer mods though and on top of that it’s also a massive selling point when going to sell a business - a full team of highly trained staff that love the forum and will work for free for the new owner.. no brainer really.

I can’t see it ever being done away with either, but who knows..

I gave being a mod on BHW my best shot and put in a lot of hours trying to keep bad actors, PBMs and scammers away from the forum. I enjoyed working with the other mods and I like to think we made a difference during our time. A special thanks to @Zwielicht and @WilhelmScream for your time and patience in developing the training and going through it with us.

Last night's changes are big changes and for some of us, I think it is clear that we didn't fit in with the direction BHW is going. I wish all those mods who remain and want to continue all the best for the future.
Wow that's sad :( I was just reading few of your threads a day or two ago and thought to myself: "What a nice and knowledgeable guy".

I'm new here so I don't know what is happening, but I hope they bring you back to the mod team.

I agree, Mods shouldn't be allowed to have their own BST's. Look at the BigBuddy BST mess back in the day. It's a conflict of interest, even if their intentions are genuine.

Wait, so you volunteer to be a mod for free to help the community, and you get privileges taken away for it? Everyone here should treat BST's the same, regardless of if it's Damien who has one, or a first time user.

Your much more likely to be scammed by a non mod than a mod.

I will prefer buying from a mod than a non mod any day of the year, it's much much safer statistically. I actually like the fact that mods have BST's, the ones I have seen offer good value for money. Unlike some non mod threads which charge $300 for a $20 link they bought from fiverr and resold to you.

100% agreed. People don't just buy from a mod BST for nothing. They do it because they expect quality. I also think everyone qualified should be allowed to have a BST, no matter they are jr vip, exec vip, mod or the admin. Good BSTs == better marketplace ultimately.

So mods are giving their free service and you want them to take away the basic right of Jr Vip i.e opening a BST.

What a sinful thinking!

Apart from treating them equally, they should be given utmost repect as they are doing selfless service for the forum.

Looks like he is a banned seller who is talking trash on a new acc :)
Or may be he is already active here, but afraid to post from his original account. ;)
Cmon guys, if you don't think that a service is upto the mark, always ask for refunds. Also, show your courage and post from your original account pleaaaase.

Big buddy even got in with many users my God he was a professional scammer hides behinds his brother (( fact))
Yeap and I think he is using random ID claiming as brother but that may be actually him. That was revelation, I keep reading old shitlist about that guy, they threatened people on here & trying to scare people
