Not sure, but does this have to do with his BST? Heard a while back that mods running BSTs should relinquish either their position or their BSTs.

But for some reason MisterF seemed above that rule (no idea why) as he continued to be allowed to open new threads after that rule was introduced which was odd.
I’m glad to see that perhaps he wasn’t above it after all, I’m also glad he’s been downgraded or stepped down (I’m guessing the latter) or whatever as it’s a serious conflict of interest mods running sales threads here and also differences shouldn’t be made between one mod and another either.. I know others that were not allowed new threads.
It’s a practice that should have been stamped out long ago as it leaves way too much room for abuse of power, we all seen that after the BigBuddy cluster fuck.

I didn’t say it was? That was me giving a personal opinion on the market place vs staff having threads, completely outside of what’s going on here.. obviously
The other two were not super mods.. they were mods in training. Huge difference.

I'm awaiting the wording when this all comes out. Mod Logs show who are active as staff and who aren't, so Wiz, tymills and Blackhit I could understand but anyway, I'll wait to see what's the reasoning.

You nailed it. I have seen several mods and admins abusing their power back then and they were downgraded/banned from their positions. Probably that was the reason this rule got implemented.
I hope it wasn't the reason behind MisterF's downgrade. I was a victim of scam of BigBuddy and he stole 5k USD from me and lured me in to his profit making scheme. After chasing him for months back then finally I got back my money with Zero returns.
Those 3 are 3 founding moderators, they’ve been here since day one. None of them have EVER had a sales thread.. ever.
I’m not going to get into a mud slinging match here.. but you also never had a sales thread here and you were a member for over a decade, but you become a mod and then suddenly you’re opening sales threads with “partners” and using your staff powers to watch competitors like hawks and your staff input to report them or raise issues about them (you can deny this all you want, but remember I was staff too, so I still have friends there).
I’m sure you put in the work, but so did bigbuddy.. shit that guy was like a robot in the staff section, but it paid dividends for him in the BST section until it blew up in his face.
Stevey Wonder could see this coming, was just a matter of time.

Mod tag over powered exec tag? What kind of nonsense is that. For starters I was a mod and voluntarily stepped down.. so that leaves that comment completely mute, there’s a big big world outside of bhw full of traffic.. don’t kid yourself bhw is not a huge part of our traffic inventory, nor does a status here mean shit. MisterF will see that now.
Secondly myself and MisterFs prices are pretty much the same, sometimes ours are lower when we run 50% off promos. It’s called marketing.. it’s what we do here.
Oh I could tell you a few things about “petty” but as I said originally I’ll not get into a mud slinging match here.

I believe this thread was started with the intention of thanking MisterF for his work in moderating the forum, not shit slinging as to whether status or breaking rules meant that he made more sales from his BST.
I'm sure if that's the reason it'll be dealt with accordingly... or take it to PMs or something... Christ

He is one of the handful that actually offer real outreach next to MisterF, and not reselling $5-$10 Fiverr gigs for $xxx. (Yes, 95% of sellers in the 'niche edit' area on this forum do this)

I was removed without prior warning.
I gave being a mod on BHW my best shot and put in a lot of hours trying to keep bad actors, PBMs and scammers away from the forum. I enjoyed working with the other mods and I like to think we made a difference during our time. A special thanks to @Zwielicht and @WilhelmScream for your time and patience in developing the training and going through it with us.
Last night's changes are big changes and for some of us, I think it is clear that we didn't fit in with the direction BHW is going. I wish all those mods who remain and want to continue all the best for the future.
