hey guys one of my clients had his google places reviews disappear after google switched him to google+, anyone dealing with this?

Could be a couple different reasons, but if you have access to the accounts where the review was written u need to login to that account, sign up for g+, the go to maps.Google.com click "my places" and there's a dropdown menu that should give u options, i think if u click edit and save it should trigger it back. also i think u can do it from within g+ click the local tab and edit from there...im on my cell might have things a bit.mixed uo but that should point you in the right direction, if u have access to the review accounts, if not u may try to contact the customers. there's also just general issues with big g loading.reviews in which case u will probably just have to wait for them to come back naturally. hole that helps.

unfortunately these are real reviews and i do not have any access to them. and we don't want to contact the customers.

this is what you get for doing it google's way. white hat my ass... :banghead:

I lost a few reviews too, real ones at that and so I don't want to bother customers. I've given up on G places, especially as they don't even include the reviews for merchant ratings.

Ok I got it fixed... If you have a double listing... Delete it... Then it ll get fixed.. Think if any other emails he might I'd set the company up with... And login in and delete the extra listing s... Don't worry the reviews stay... Which us awesome :)

Thanks for the help. Will be looking at my accounts today! i try to check them about once a month.

Yeah, definitely check in the accounts. Chances are, the reviews didn't actually disappear, but rather, they're still sitting on another account that appears to be a duplicate. Google may be featuring the wrong one. If you can't find the issue yourself, you actually can contact Google about merging accounts and you should be able to get the reviews restored that way instead.

I am afraid it is inevitable. Always has been. Best thing you can do is keep getting them. About the only thing you can do.
