Mismatch between hits and adsense pageview

Hi

I see a mismatch between the hits reported by the ISP for currentsignature.com and the pageview is see in google adsense.

According to Google Adsense I had yesterday 10 pageviews, but the statics from the ISP says I had 62 hits, confusing...

I thought pageview represented each time a page was viewed, and I thought hits was the same don't understand how those numbers can be that different...
