Is this right? What I want to do is have one main website with multiple domains I am using godaddy I know there crap but I have a few months left paid for so am I right in saying that all the pages will work on the website but just be a different domain?

    For example

    domain1.com/page1
    domain2.com/page1

And to do this I just point the domain to the directory of the main website? Is it that easy or am I missing something? I have the first website set-up but I don?t want to go buy 10 domains in case it doesn?t work.

I am not sure why you want 10 domains pointing to one website but yes you can do a temporary or permanent redirect to the first website for each domain. Remember all link juice and everything will flow to your main website from the additional domains. If you are looking for a buffer for your domain then I would suggest a blog with links to your main website as the buffer.

you can do permanent redirects in your htacces - but you need acces to it, that depends on your webhoster
