Please share with me genuine mining apps or sites

I use the program XMRig to mine Monero, but it's more or less just for "fun", I run it on my VPS and occasionally on my PC. In about 3 months I have earned around 6$. So you really need a lot of power to make serious money with it. I do it anyway, primarily for "fun" but secretly I hope that Monero will be worth a lot at some point and I can look back and think "Wow... you created this money yourself"

wouldnt it just make more sense to straight up buy XMR and hold instead?

Then he wouldn't be able to look back and say "Wow... you created his money yourself"

He will be able to say "ahhh, you bought this money before" :D

That's exactly what susocial wrote. But I have 8 other cryptocurrencies that I have bought, including Bitcoin, Etherium, Polkadot, VeChain, XRP, Cardano and a few others. :)

Is mining even profitable anymore?

Difficult, if you have free electricity then definitely, but it is very time-consuming. I mine with my 16 GB VPS Monero for about 10-30 cents a day (if it runs well).
However, there are also web miners that can be integrated into a site as Javascript, for example, so if you run a site that has a lot of visitors it could certainly be worthwhile. However, I am not sure about the legality, so I would be careful with this.

solar panel as your main source of electricity and you can mine with your own unit.

If you're looking for genuine mining apps or sites, consider using XMRig for mining Monero (XMR). It's a popular choice among miners. However, keep in mind that mining can be resource-intensive and may not yield significant profits without substantial computing power. Always research thoroughly before starting.

solar panel as your main source of electricity and you can mine with your own unit.
If you’re talking about mining with solar panels as your main power source, there aren’t really “apps” that do this for you. You mine using your own hardware (ASIC or GPU) and run it on the electricity generated by your solar + battery system, then connect to a mining pool or software. The key part is having a properly engineered solar, storage, and grid-integration setup so the load is stable and you don’t damage your equipment. EPC companies like Hartek Group work on large-scale solar, power systems, and energy storage, and similar infrastructure principles apply even at a smaller, home or commercial level.
