Mining on mobile : Does it affect mobile performance or life in any way

The concept of mining crypto coins on mobile is on rise. But is there any problem associates with it especially related to mobile being used for for this?

What? Mining crypto with mobile?? Where can i find info about this?

I know there are crypto miners for desktop haven’t tried those either , sounds interesting
 
Are you talking about Pi coin? I was mining it for 3 years on my iphone 7 and never had any problem with it

Yeah, mobile crypto mining isn’t great. It overheats your phone, drains the battery fast, and wears out hardware quickly. Plus, most mobile miners make barely any profit—the power usage usually outweighs the earnings. Some mining apps are also scams or malware. Safer to just stake coins or cloud mine instead.

One problem i have with mining on mobile is overheating. It happened to me, the mobile overheated like crazy and the battery drained so fast.
 
You see, the mobile phone is not the right device for mining. So, I am sorry, but I need to guess that someone is using your device for something, when you install a mining software.
 
There are several types of miners, some will affect your mobile phone, others won't
You'll need to check yourself, as you can see above, the answers are mixed

Real mobile mining? Nah, that's just a myth. It's a marketing gimmick by these crypto pyramid devs. No wonder the OG of this trend is sliding down the rankings. Getting a whiff of that scam smell?

So how is the coin being mined having any value if it is all scam?
 
depends on how mining works, if you mine the same as BTC it will drain your battery and will damage your phone for the long run

Pi token's bought as a meme coin. Only Bitcoin's got real mining, that's why it's got real value. Even Ethereum's losing investor interest. Check the BTC and ETH ETF flows.
 
Yeah, it can slow down your phone and mess with the battery life, not to mention it’ll overheat like crazy.
