Minimum product price for affilliates

When selecting products to review or niches to enter, what kind of minimum pricing do you look at to ensure it is worthwhile for commission on your affiliate earnings.

Obviously the more expensive the item the better but is there a cut off that you wont waste your time for minimal return on lower priced items?
