I keep seeing that you need fresh content. Can someone help me out here? Where do I put the fresh content? On a new page, change my main page? Or what?

I would add content on new pages so that your site grows but occasionally freshen up existing pages too.

Add new pages or posts. You just have to make a good interlinking or simply to have a good website structure to make sure that Google knows about your articles.

On your money site you should have unique content.

^This - Fresh and unique content is the way to go. Like the others say, new posts keep your site good in big G's eyes. New content or fresh updates on the main page can help as well.
