Mini computer recommendations

I hope to get some advice from those with experience in small computers.

Here's the story:

In a few months, I'll be away from home and the office for an extended period.

Both my home and office will be closed, and I won't have anyone here to assist me remotely.

However, that doesn't mean work can wait.

After connecting the necessary devices to my computers, I'll start them and begin my journey, leaving my laptop with me at all times.

I have gigabit-speed internet connections and storage units in both my home and office. I'm looking for devices that consume less power (and are therefore less risky) and can run Windows 10/11 for terminal / RDP sessions.

My goal is to continue my tasks remotely that require static IP addresses and high download/upload speeds, ensuring I won't be disadvantaged while away from home.

I'd like to purchase two mini computers, ideally of the same model – one for home and one for the office. I can spend a total of around $500, and at the most, $550 USD if necessary.

I found a few models from gmktec that I liked. I'll provide model names since I'm not sure if providing links is an issue; you can check them at "gmktec dot com."

Do you think these will be sufficient for my remote access needs? I won't have any CPU / GPU-intensive tasks.

If you know of other brands/models or have recommendations, please share them.

No matter what you choose I would suggest something like SHELLY Plug Plus S (if you have wifi at your office and home).
With shelly plug s you get remote power on/off option. Just in case windows hangs or something you would have an option to remote power on and off your mini pc.

Do you think these will be sufficient for my remote access needs?

Yes, 10 years old computer would be enough

Thanks! I should have mentioned the smart plug requirement, but I forgot. Luckily you reminded me. I will be lookinf into SHELLY Plug Plus S.

Well, I don't have one that old to use I expect fewer problems with low power consumption and as few moving parts as possible.
It scares me what can happen to an old computer. I will be away for at least 6 months.
