Hi Folks,

I am looking forward to create a mini authority site built from CMS.

Whats the best cms out there if we will look into the following aspect:

1. Security
2. Long term solution.
3. SEO
4. Easy management

First thing that worries me is the security. I am noy sure if wp is strong enough in any case the site grow.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah WP is ok.. however, in terms of security? Is it a long term solution? What if the site grows big? Is it viable?

there's big sites on WP platform ..., when the site become big you will not worry about it because you will hire team
to manage it ...

In this case you mean to say that wp is capable? Any example of big sites on wp?

Wordpress is good to use. They have updates, so if there are known hacks, they will fix them.

Once you site is bigger, there are also some intense wp plugins for security you can always buy.

Don't let BHW turn into your version of Google.

Joomla is also used by big corporations.

WordPress is a free solution, appreciate it for what it is. Don't be so picky.

If you're worried about security, why don't you just create the site, then hire a hacker (assuming you're not one) to find vulnerabilities, then hire someone to patch them. This isn't that complicated. :)

Thanks guys! Appreciate all your inputs.

I'm not sure if you need more convincing but I have to agree that WP is fine-- there are even products and services out there to help make it more secure if you aren't interested in diving in yourself.

Thanks for the reply peeps.

Moving to WP.
