Been minding a friends dog now for 3 hours and the thing has managed to piss in every room. It didnt just do it once, its done it a few times.

Dont know how a small dog managed to piss the whole way from the kitchen, up through the hall way into the sitting room while taking a piss. and it done that twice.

Cant even just throw it outside cause there are so many big dogs that will just eat it for dinner lol. Might just do it, save me the time of having to constantly clean up after it. Am sure my friend will be happy not having to clean up after this bitch so much.lol

Now I see why t0mmy complained so much about this dog. House smells of piss.

as i wrote this the bitch pissed again in the house. door was open for her to get out still did it in the house.

She's not peeing to go potty, she is marking the territory. Put a gate up in the kitchen or some other kind of barrier.

Wish i had a cage for it. Might confine it to a single room, like under the stairs.

As long as the dog didn't reach 6 months, you will have hard time with it. It needs training and I really have no idea who raises a dog inside his house anyway !

I love animals and all kinds of it. But NOT inside my house. Cats are okay. Other than that they have to stay out

Educate it with a newspaper, hit the floor near him and shout a lot when it does something you don't like.

Well said about dogs... Here is my puppy, I clean the house every time he shits or pee. You just have to bear it if you want to tame it. After 1 year you don't have to worry at all. I have 2 dogs already and this is my third now, he is just a month old.
Cute.. isn't he? Near him is a torn shoe, that once used to be mine. :(

because it stores the same amount of water as a camel does but not for the length of time lol Thing pees like every 5 mins, and the puddles are large enough for her to drown in.

This is what is happening. Simply this, plus perhaps a little anxiety possibly.
it will settle down soon. Just give it a little bottle of "Powers" ;)
and it will sleep all night through for you.

If he was my friend I would go round his house and take a dump in his kitchen.

    Just educate the dog.

Everytime he takes a piss, stick his head into the sand where he was supposed to do that in the first place. Make sure to raise your voice so the dog will feel how mad you're.

Dogs learn fast, after a few days he will either piss into the sand... or keep pissing all over the place and eat the sand afterwards.

Females don't usually mark their territory unless they are in heat, that is more of a male trait. I suspect she just hasn't been house trained properly, and she may have a bladder infection, especially if she is going often.

The only time my lab ever peed in the house (after she was trained) was when she had a urinary tract infection.

You simply have to train them correctly.

As far as having a dog in the house, I would not hesitate to. Phoebe is a member of my family, and NO ONE gets in the yard without her telling me about it, much less in the house. When someone does come to the door, she stands right beside whoever answers the door with her hackles up in full display, and a "I do not trust you" look in her face. That dog is a born protector, without being aggressive. The pizza guy won't even come all the way to the front door, nd all he can do is hear her.

The only person she ever attacked was a man who decided to bother my wife while she took her out for a walk. She took a big hunk of flesh out of his arm when he reached for my wife. People in the neighborhood know not to mess with her now.

With everyone else, she is an angel. The grandkids sit on her, pull her ears and generally wrestle with her and she has never hurt anyone. But look at anyone in this house with malice, and she becomes an avenging terror.

Put it in a giant box. Works every time. You can throw darts at the box too if you get bored. Better yet, pee on the dog to teach it a lesson.

Take away the food and water bowls. Get her on a schedule. They can't keep peeing if they don't keep drinking.

Get a box or small cage so she feels safe. A lot of time small dogs are nervous around everyone that appear as giants to them. They need a box or someplace they can get out of sight and traffic.

Tie her to an area and put food and water down there a couple times a day. 20-30 minutes after she's eaten and drank water then put her somewhere to do her business. The easiest way to housebreak a dog is a strict schedule of when they can eat and drink. Then you don't need to beat them or scare them with noise training (shaking cans, banging newspapers, etc). Noise training might break the dog of bad behavior but you'll also have issues when storms come and fireworks are lit.

The issue with most dogs is people get them that are too busy to raise them. If you don't have a solid schedule then don't get a dog. They can't adjust like humans to crazy weird hours of eating, shitting and sleeping. Dogs like consistent scheduling. :)
