Mind-Blowing Livestream Method!

I was watching a TT livestream, and my friend was on the stream with two other hosts. Suddenly, another person was added to the stream, making it four in total.

The last person added to the stream appeared exactly like my friend. My friend was surprised and exclaimed, "WTF is that? How is he able to do this?" My friend then touched his cheek, and the new person mirrored every action. Additionally, the imitator's video was a bit zoomed out; you could only see my friend up to his shoulders. However, the person who joined had the entire upper body showing in the video, wearing the same shirt as my friend and looking exactly like him in person. It wasn't just a live recording of himself since the viewers could only see up to the shoulders.

How is this done? Has anyone seen something similar?

Indeed the imitator's video was a bit from the angle, rather than straight shot, So are you saying it was some one with him at his place or do viewers also get different camera angles to be able to view on tt stream ?

anyways, I was not expecting to see something like that and never bothered recording it, however I could find a video recorded by others, since I saw it reuploaded moments later

Like me, I think we both want to see what the technique is. I can't even begin to picture what's going on from just reading your explanation. It's very hard to picture

Maybe some kind of AI? It sounds like a deepfake. With audio you can make live voice clones, it has happened with streamers
 
Lmao this is easy with some custom stuff being done i could probably figure out few ways on how to do it

As someone who closely follows AI, I don't believe this is related to deepfake technology. Firstly, there was no voice ON in the mimicker's camera, ruling out voice cloning technology (which is also the easiest to achieve in current AI tech).

Now, the visual aspect, video deepfakes still exhibit glitches, and a knowledgeable human eye familiar with AI tech can discern their authenticity, even in meticulously crafted and pre-rendered videos.

Creating convincing real-time deepfakes, replicating every nuanced action during a live stream without glitches, is particularly challenging. Therefore, I am inclined to think that it wasn't a deepfake related trick.

In the above example, I think it was run by her.

But, I saw other streams that look like it was run by other people, at least from the reactions, the timing, etc. but it could also be an act. I don't know to be honest.

I see - interesting. I wonder what is the benefit to this. Does the algo benefit it? Is it just a unique content type that has novelty and is attention grabbing?
 
Open livestream on desktop, focus the phone to the monitor on one host and join the live, your camera will show what you focused on. This seems logic, right?
