hey guys so here is the question:

1) say you have a 1000 people that want something and you can give it to them for free so you content lock the thing they want. if all 1000 people go thru the content locker and fill out the email submit, survey or whatever it is, how much profit can be made with this INCLUDING all shaving the CPA network might do? anybody have experience?

2) also what's the best type of content lock to use - email submit, survey, etc?

3) lastly what are some of the good content locking networks (that allow or even encourage content locking) so there are no problems at payout time?

thanks a bunch

or if anyone has any refrences thanks guys

For your first question, I don't think you should focus on how much you make. That's always been my biggest mistake during my noobie days.

Instead, focus on how much traffic you can bring and don't just limit yourself to 1000 visitors.

Just my 2cents.

thanks for the reply bro, just asking to get a feel for it as im experimenting with alot of different things. if anyone could answer those questions it would help alot

Let's say if all of them actually click on offers and after network shaving the final clicks will be around 900 aNd out of these 900, if 90 people actually complete the offer assuming a CR of 10% then you will make around $70-$140 approximately.

I forgot your 2nd question about the CPA network. You can go with Adwork Media or Adscend Media. Both are good.

Depends on offer, advertiser, your traffic etc. Not a black and white question

Really? Networks ink shave 10%? I thought it was like 50% especially with incent. Also I'm not saying I have 1000 UV, I'm saying 1000 people actually complete the offer

Oh I thought you are saying about 1000 u.v. Well the shaving depends on offers. Email submits are good in the starting but as you keep sending traffic, they start shaving. if you are asking about 1000 leads, then you can earn around 1000-1500 dollars.

thanks for the replies. Any other answers ? I'm not asking about traffic or ppl completing the offers as much as I am about how much content locking networks shave. I would assume it's more compared to regular email submits? is content locking still hot these days? I feel it's the easiest way to hit 5 figures a month with the right traffic

What is this answer going to bring you? Are you going to generate more money by knowing how much they shave?
No... Firstly, each network does not work in the same way, while some might shave your ass off, others might not even shave much. There is no "general" shaving percentage though, so really, spending time here asking this will lead you nowhere, but spending that time on closing leads will lead you to success.

thanks for the reply. lol I wouldn't ask if it wouldn't benefit me I'm asking because I get alot of leads daily and I want to see if I should content lock or sell an actual service. I don't want to spend the effort setting up both a service site and a good looking content locking site if I know content locking is not worth it. I know it's a broad q, buy if I get 1000 people to fill the content locker will I, with all thr shaving, at least get $500 out of it?

You are asking on forum how much you would earn!?
That is something that you should check and test. Somebody's results will not be like your results, form 100 replies you will get 100 opinions, you know, because apparently almost everyone here is self-proclaimed expert of some sort.
You don't want to make effort setting up both a service site and a good looking content locking site? That's fine with 100 % of users here, at the end it's your money that you could or could not earn because you didn't wanted to do your testing.

Sigh i guess ill just setup both. Ive done email submits but never content locking just wanted to know how bad the scrubbing was for email submits whatever all good

Email submits do good, plus you can go for adscendmedia. I like their support

Regardless email submits, many people are mixing "not valid" with "shaved" leads. Not Valid would be emails that are already in database of CPA company and they will not pay for that email / lead, it's very logic. They will not inform you "hey from your 1000 email leads we had 190 in our database so we will not pay for them", they will simply reduce number of valid submissions and you will think that they are shaving way too much. They are shaving, that's not a secret, but not so much like people think.

Ye you will defintely get more than $500. I think it will be around $700 if traffic is good.

thanks guys. Any suggestions for content locking networks? I've heard bad things about blamads. Anyone that actually pays consistently and on time for people that make a pretty penny each month?

Blamads is no longer in the business. People are using Adwork Media and Adscend Media now a days. Both pay on time.
