Migrating problems.

Hey y'all!
I had Godaddy for a year and hated it, a couple visitors and the site lagged like crazy, so I got another hosting (cheaper, better and more ram).
Anyway, so some days in advance I went into Cpanel, compressed and downloaded the 2 sites needed to move.
But the thing is, I did not download the MySQL...
I just spoke with customer support and they wanted $150 AND the cost for hosting to "save" my sites (ROFL).
Am I fucked and I need to re-create the sites and add the content manualy now or is there an easier way?

They can just get a backup for you but they will ask alot of money because you will HAVE to get it back.. had it before and it sucks

You mean you closed the account and forgot to download the database?

I downloaded the sites with all the content. not the mysql, and the hosting is closed now

You could have easily downloaded the database from your cPanel. As your account is now closed and you don't have access to cPanel, it depends on how much you value the website. $150.00 is exorbitant.

If you did full backup than you should have database in folder you download, but if you only compress files in file manager than say goodbye to your database.

Okey, well I have everything I need to rebuild them within an hour, just that all the articles will take alot of time to re-create. Fun fun fun

I don't know how many articles do you have but for me with 4500 articles it take about 2 minutes to import database
