Might buy Xrumer - Need help with getting started

Hello,

I've been a lurker here for some time. This is my first post, but I really need your help here.

I am thinking of purchasing Xrumer but am having a hard time understanding how it works exactly and what else I need to go along with it.

I am a programmer and have over 30 websites.

I've heard some say that you need a dedicated server, etc. Is this true?

I have 2 home PCs, one is an old dell server. My internet is usa based... will I swtill need a dedicated server?

What are the first steps in getting started with Xrumer?

Are there any good videos on how to use xrumer? All the posts I found here are dead.

If you want to run xrumer 24/7 then yea a dedicated server is needed because it consumes 2-4 tb's of bandwidth per month and NO DSL company in the world would allow that type of usage.

There is a two hour video that shows step by step how to use xrumer but its not a free video...

Also just with the video its not enough to overcome the learning curve.... You really need to sit down and adjust, tweak it to your needs...

Just paying 500 bux and getting it doesnt mean you get #1 in serps overnight... believe it or not it, it's not as easy as it seems...I run mine day and night but still i havent seen huge gains yet... and also the support for xrumer isn't very responsive as you would expect from a software that costs this much...So you kinda need to be good at what you do so when your stuck you can get out of a rut by yourself if support isn't there...

Bottomline is it isn't really a NOOB Tool.... But this IMO...

i too am contemplating in getting it, but from the small blast i got recently my serps disappeared for a keyword i used to get 300 uv per day white hat google seo, now im getting 30 uv per day. oh well

its either xrumer or clad genius- im not too crazy about ewhoring but i just cant let the craigslist goldmine pass me up its just stupid to not utilize it.

A home pc is fine you dont need a dedicated server. i use emaqu dsl they dont care how much you use. i have been useing it for close to 6 months now every other day i have not had any problems.

dsl bandwidth is not share you get a steady stream test it out.
cable internet is shared with the houses around you timewarner has a big problem with this. test the up stream and down stream of both if your able

So i guess its all up to your provider.

I've been hearing about folks gettin blacklisted by Google. Any insight on this? Does this come from building links too fast?

Sure, if you bould 60k links a day it'll raise a red flag for G. That's why 99% of us use build doorways to our main money mkaing site/affiliate site, these doorways can stay on top of the SE's for a few days, sometimes a few weeks, just depends on how much you push it. It'll help to keep your moneymaking site safe.

Well I have actually tried this on my own site, spamed the cr@p out of it.

The most I have been able to do was get a couple of Web2.0s deleted, but they may well have been deleted for other reasons. (ie hubs which were too promotional)

Some people say you can do yourself harm, others say you can't as then we would all be zapping our competition...

clearly one set of people is wrong...

well in my opinion you can do harm. i have loads of profiles banned, loads of doorways banned, loads of domain banned. i also have loads of same on good positions in serps. and of course in pharmacy after ranking u get banned sooner or later.. from 24h to 2 weeks. thing is loads of stuff is unpredictable thats why even runnin 2 domains same way, may have different endings.

Imo, when there are millions and millions of domains to index, google's one percent deviation in its ranking pattern would result in hundreds of thousand irregular ranking pattern. If you get what I'm trying to say.

Same principal as the quote from fightclub, on a long enough timeline, the probability of everyone being alive is 0.

Thus, the only way to surely increase your chance of earning money is to decide wisely and go for it.

That PDF guide on how to use Xrumer is just what the doctor ordered.

So, back to the topic of blacklists.

I understand how doorway pages work, that's good advice.

In my situation, I have approx. 30 domains. Would it make sense to say maybe build 1,000 links per week for ecah domain - or maybe even less to stay under the radar? Do you think that strategy would work?

Yes it probably matters a little with what you are doing, ie what your sites are about. Helga's Horrny Pills site will probably get killed before Pete's Puffy Poodles ... However how much of that is really down to Xrumer. I still think its only because you are getting accelerated exposure, ie in time it would have been killed anyway.

Okay, I have purchased Xrumer.

I installed both Hrfer and Xrumer.

I built a list with Hrefer.

When I try to create a new project in Xrumer, the email will not validate!

the gmail captcha keeps popping up no matter how many times I fill it out.

Any advice here? I am waiting on acceptance into the botmaster support forums.

None of the email registering options work currently, you would really need to make a gmail account manually then input the details in the new project, remember and set "check for emails" every 25 minutes with gmail to be safe! check and download to regularly and the account gets banned pretty quick

Okay, I am running my first blast. I did what you suggested.

I am currently at only 23 successfult and 500 + failed. What am i doing wrong? I am using proxies. Please help!

that's nearly 5% success rate it is normal with fresh linkslist DB when you run zlinks you will get ~20-50% success rate. You get zlinks DB after you run through your linkslist DB

Have bolded the problem part.

Even without proxies I believe Xrumer success out of the box on a new list is 8-12% ish ...

You can improve success either by:

1. Altering Xrumer (hard)
2. Using Captcha solving service (costly)
3. Refining your list (time consuming)

OR do all 3 and you will end up with lists 99% success and sites nobody else can access (and captcha solving service is not so costly when you have sorted out points 1 and 3).

Hey OP
How did you got your copy of xrumer? I paid them using moneybookers on 23rd Oct 09 but still haven't got my copy, have mailed them a couple of times, but they have like stopped responding me after i made the payment though they were responding before the payment was sent and even can't seem to find them online in ICQ so wanted to know if there is any other mode to contact them ?

I just hope it's delayed just due to weekend
